The application to apply to participate in the Dinsmore Pre-Law Minority Program is open. Student organizations, campus offices and academic departments can now submit flyers to hang in each of the Residence Halls! All flyers must be approved. In order to submit your flyer for approval, bring in 20 copies to the Housing & Residence Life office (located on the 5th floor of the Whitlock Building). If you would like your flyer to appear on a Residence Hall digital sign, please submit a JPEG file to housing@eku.edu. Allow 3-5 business days for approval/posting. Flyers will remain hanging for two weeks or until the event/program is over.

Crack climbing is one of those often overlooked gems of rock climbing. While bouldering requires a degree of power, and sport climbing requires a degree of endurance, crack climbing requires a degree of technique. In this clinic you will be provided with a chance to understand different types of cracks and how to climb them with ease. Intro to crack climbing will cover tape gloves, types of jams, terminology, and the application of these concepts. Register at mycampusrec.eku.edu

Move the Tissues is trauma-informed yoga for trauma survivors. The Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies (KCVS) regularly invites individuals with unique perspectives on veterans’ issues to speak to classes and the larger campus community. Join us for a talk with Joseph White, a Clinical Staff Chaplain for the Lexington VAHCS. Prior to Chaplaincy, Joe was an educator, teaching first at Model Lab School and later at Berea Community School. Joe enlisted in 1992 and commissioned in 2004, serving a cumulative 21 years in the United States Army Reserve. He deployed to the Middle East as a Space Operations Officer. You will learn about the moral and spiritual wounds of war, the impact of the deployment cycle on military families, and the role Chaplains play in providing spiritual care for veterans in the VA hospital system.
