Please join us for the Library's upcoming Speaking from the Margins event, in which EKU students that grew up under the administration of a Black United States President share their thoughts on how they are sometimes perceived and how they rise up to be recognized, to be included and to be valued. Students reflect on why Black Lives Matter is more than a tag line and how they show up to reconcile and heal from oppressive situations. Ron Jackson, Director of the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement will moderate this panel discussion.

Are you in need of assistance to pay for food?
For a temporary time, students enrolled at least half-time (6 to 11 credit hours) are eligible for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, SNAP. Students can qualify for SNAP benefits if they meet at least one of the two criteria.
1. Eligible to participate in state or federal work-study. Students do not have to actually be participating in the program.
2. Have an EFC, expected family contribution, of 0 in the current academic year.
The temporary exemption will be in effect until 30 days after the COVID-19 public health emergency has been lifted.
