EKU Students are eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccination through our partners with Baptist Health Richmond. Appointments are available at the Baptist Health Richmond Regional Vaccine Clinic at the EKU Perkins Building on Kit Carson Drive, Monday-Friday.
To find available appointments and register to receive a Pfizer vaccine, visit the Baptist Health website at https://www.baptisthealth.com/vaccine/schedule-now/locations/richmond. All appointments are scheduled online via the Baptist Health website.
**Baptist Health requires anyone under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A valid photo ID and insurance card must be presented for all patients.
The Pfizer vaccine will require a second dose, 21 days after your first vaccination, that will be scheduled during your first appointment.

The Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies (KCVS) regularly invites individuals with unique perspectives on veterans’ issues to speak to classes and the larger campus community. Join us for a talk with Christopher Stanfield, a former US Army infantryman and two-time veteran of the Iraq War. Chris was a 2013 Pat Tillman Scholar and graduated from EKU with a major in in Political Science, a minor in Veterans Studies, and a certificate in Women and Gender Studies. He founded Stem the Tide Kentucky, a grassroots campaign that engaged the public and lawmakers about veteran suicide. He has since committed his life to serving veterans for organizations like Kentucky River Foothills, the KY Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services where he works as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist. All are welcome!
