Coping with COVID is an affirming support group for students who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and are in isolation. This is a weekly virtual support group offered three times per week.

This workshop will provide tools, habits, and tactics for navigating difficult times, and help manage the daily difficulties you may experience during the semester. Join the EKU Counseling Center staff today for a workshop on Distress Tolerance. When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. Changes in your daily routine and the people you’re around can lead to a mixture of emotions. These new experiences can be stressful. The tools provided in this workshop are aimed to provide you with skills to navigate these intense emotions and increase the positive experiences throughout your day.

The organization and planning module of the Feel Better Fast series will be aimed to help establish a routine to help with managing your day. Professor Reichert of the Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology program is conducting a study to measure the opinions of students currently living in EKU residence halls (IRB 003182).
