La Mesa de Español is back this Wednesday Aug. 25 at 5PM!!! La mesa is the Spanish conversation club at EKU, a weekly discussion group that meets on campus and/or on zoom to acquire Spanish conversation skills and learn about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Attendance is documented for extra-credit purposes; your professor will receive notification towards the end of the semester. Prepare for that study abroad trip, be ready for your next oral exam, join the global community of bilingual speakers or simply connect with other members EKU community and make new friends. Affirm is a collaborative group working toward acceptance through education and open discussion toward LGBTQ+ life experiences. This is a virtual therapy group through the EKU Psychology Clinic, is conducted by EKU Clinical Psychology doctoral students, and hosted through Zoom. Interview days will be August 30, September 13, and September 20. Interested participants must physically be in Kentucky and be at least 18 years old. Support without Borders is an affirming support group for multicultural students and international students. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment.
