Join your fellow student veterans and servicemembers for a stress management workshop, and "Leave It." Starting September 15, students will have an opportunity to learn ways to manage stress and anxiety through painting, yoga, journaling, and rock-climbing workshops. There is no cost to participate, and all supplies are provided. Attend one session, or attend them all! There is no limit to participation. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. Note: This workshop series is only open to EKU student veterans and those currently serving in the United States military.

Support without Borders is an affirming support group for multicultural students and international students. This is a weekly virtual support group provided by the EKU Counseling Center and hosted through a secure video platform. This group is for individuals that have been negatively impacted by growing up in an alcoholic, drug addicted or otherwise unpredictable family environment. Topics often discussed include understanding the impact of these family patterns, learning how to recognize and develop healthy relationships, and addressing negative beliefs about oneself. This is a weekly virtual group provided by the EKU Counseling Center and hosted through a secure video platform. A group orientation is required to join this group. When we are stressed, it can be hard to operate at our best. When we are stressed and then have to complete tasks that will be graded or evaluated, it can feel impossible to be our best. This workshop focuses on ways to improve test anxiety, improving personal motivation for the things that need to get done, as well as how to set effective and attainable goals. Join EKUCC clinician Nick Rogell, LPCC, for this workshop on how to improve your personal performance.
