We still seek AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps members to serve at the Catholic Action Center's sustainable garden project in Lancaster! This is a sustainable garden project that provides fresh produce to food pantries in Garrard County, and is associated with the CAC holistic substance abuse treatment center at Cliffview. It is also great opportunity to gain experience and professional development in a beautiful setting! Service term is September - December 2021, or through spring 2022. Commitment is 10-25 service hours per week, depending on the service slot. Benefits include a living allowance and education award at end of service. Affirm is a collaborative group working toward acceptance through education and open discussion toward LGBTQ+ life experiences. This is a virtual therapy group through the EKU Psychology Clinic, is conducted by EKU Clinical Psychology doctoral students, and hosted through Zoom. Join the EKU Counseling Center staff today for a workshop on Distress Tolerance. When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. Changes in your daily routine and the people you’re around can lead to a mixture of emotions. These new experiences can be stressful. The Graduate School is thrilled to host the Fall 2021 Grad Blitz in person! Grad Blitz is geared towards undergraduate juniors and seniors who are seeking the next steps to obtain a graduate degree. Grad Blitz will showcase our 30+ graduate programs and supportive services. Students will have the opportunity to meet with graduate faculty/staff from their program of choice during this time.
