La mesa is the Spanish conversation club at EKU, a discussion group meeting weekly on campus and on zoom to acquire Spanish conversation skills and learn about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. The EKU Center for the Arts is offering a special ticket promotion for six-time Grammy award-winning artist Amy Grant's upcoming show this Saturday, September 11. EKU students, faculty, and staff with an active EKU ID number can get their tickets for only $20 this Wednesday (9/8) through Friday (9/10).

Join EKUCC for a night to remember at the Planetarium.
Get on Uranus and Meditate is an annual event put on by the EKUCC and Campus Recreation that encourages students to take a break from the busy semester, and find some peace at the planetarium. Come by for a brief stretching activity, followed by a guided meditation at the Planetarium.
Shirts may be available on a limited basis for students that complete the activity.

When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. This group is for individuals that have been negatively impacted by growing up in an alcoholic, drug addicted or otherwise unpredictable family environment. Topics often discussed include understanding the impact of these family patterns, learning how to recognize and develop healthy relationships, and addressing negative beliefs about oneself.

When a student finds themselves or another student’s safety at risk due to the use of alcohol or other drugs, they should contact the EKUPD immediately for medical assistance. Formal disciplinary action for violations of paragraphs 33, 34, and 35 of the General Regulations Concerning Student Behavior of the Student Handbook will not be enforced provided the involved students meet the criteria for amnesty.
You wont be punished for helping a friend. If someone needs medical attentional because of drugs or alcohol, they and you are protected by medical amnesty.
Just call, stay, and cooperate.
