For Homecoming 2021, EKU's Active RSOs have the opportunity to participate in a banner competition! Banners will be hung for display during EKU's Annual Colonel Corn Roast, presented by SGA. Judges at the event will award the following prizes: 1st Place-$250

Join your fellow student veterans and servicemembers for a stress management workshop, and "Leave It." Starting September 15, students will have an opportunity to learn ways to manage stress and anxiety through painting, yoga, journaling, and rock-climbing workshops. There is no cost to participate, and all supplies are provided. Attend one session, or attend them all! There is no limit to participation. Sessions will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a workshop on Mindfulness. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings. In this workshop, you will learn tools that can help you practice mindfulness and work towards reducing and preventing stress, anxiety, depression, as well as many other concerns you may be experiencing.

The Graduate School is thrilled to host the Fall 2021 Grad Blitz in person, TOMORROW! Grad Blitz is geared towards undergraduate juniors and seniors who are seeking the next steps to obtain a graduate degree. Grad Blitz will showcase our 30+ graduate programs and supportive services. Support without Borders is an affirming support group for multicultural students and international students. This is a weekly virtual support group provided by the EKU Counseling Center and hosted through a secure video platform. This group is for individuals that have been negatively impacted by growing up in an alcoholic, drug addicted or otherwise unpredictable family environment. Topics often discussed include understanding the impact of these family patterns, learning how to recognize and develop healthy relationships, and addressing negative beliefs about oneself. This is a weekly virtual group provided by the EKU Counseling Center and hosted through a secure video platform. A group orientation is required to join this group.
