College can be a lot to manage, especially when you're transitioning out the military, just starting classes after time away from school, or juggling work and family priorities as well.
Join your fellow student veterans and servicemembers for a stress management workshop, and "Leave It on the Lines." Students will have an opportunity to learn stress management techniques through writing and leaving their stress and anxiety on the lines of the paper. A free journal will be provided to all attendees.
This workshop is only open to EKU student veterans and those currently serving in the United States military.
Space is limited, so reserve your spot today! Event Date: September 22; 3:30 - 4:30 pm Location: Powell 108 Cost: 0

Where does voguing come from, and what, exactly, is throwing shade? This landmark documentary provides a vibrant snapshot of the 1980s through the eyes of New York City’s African American and Latinx Harlem drag-ball scene. Made over seven years, Paris Is Burning offers an intimate portrait of rival fashion “houses,” from fierce contests for trophies to house mothers offering sustenance in a world rampant with homophobia, transphobia, racism, AIDS, and poverty. Featuring legendary voguers, drag queens, and trans women—including Willi Ninja, Pepper LaBeija, Dorian Corey, and Venus Xtravaganza—Paris Is Burning brings it, celebrating the joy of movement, the force of eloquence, and the draw of community.
