Looking for a good old-fashioned Competition – Football style? Soccer, what the rest of the world logically calls Football (No Hands Allowed!) is king of the street sports! Join us for a mini tournament at the Latino Street Fair on Wednesday, September 29th from 1:00-2:00 pm. Sign up either as 4-player teams or as an individual player to be dropped in round-robin. We invite you to March to Save the Amazonian Rainforests and River Basin. This annual event raises awareness of the destruction of these lands that are not just home to still undocumented and undiscovered flora and fauna, but are also vital to the health and safety of the entire globe. Poster Making Workshop for The Annual March to Save the Amazon. Part of the EKU Latino Heritage Month 2021- 10th Anniversary celebrations and the Latino Street Fair. Get creative and help make posters and signs for the Wednesday's March to Save the Amazon Rainforest and River Basin. Workshop will be held today, Monday, Sept. 27th from 3-6 pm at the Bobby Verdugo and Yoli Rios Bilingual Peer Mentor and Tutoring Center in McCreary Hall (next to the Lancaster Avenue Pedway across from Grande Campus). Bring ideas and any materials you would like to incorporate into a poster for you to carry for the march. You can make more than one to share with other students. Modern Warrior LIVE is the film version of the theatrical performance about one veteran’s experience when returning to civilian life and his recovery from trauma. Learning to belay is an important part of the climbing experience at the EKU climbing center, or outside at any natural cliff face. This clinic teaches participants about equipment, knots, climbing skills, belay technique, catching falls, and lowering climbers; all with plenty of practice. Participants who have completed a workshop may then complete a free belay skills assessment to belay independently at the climbing wall.

Join the EKU Counseling Center staff today for a workshop on Distress Tolerance. When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. Changes in your daily routine and the people you’re around can lead to a mixture of emotions. These new experiences can be stressful.
