Would you know what to do during a community-wide chemical emergency?
Madison County, KYEM, and FEMA, have decided to conduct a limited exercise this year on 9/15/2021. Exercise play will focus on activity at the Emergency Operations Center in Madison County.
For the purposes of an exercise, we won’t ask any of our populations to conduct shelter in place drills, but we want you to know that September is an excellent month to consider how you might protect yourself from a community-wide chemical release, like what could occur at the Blue Grass Army Depot.
Check out these videos.
