The Kentucky Center for Veterans Studies (KCVS) regularly invites individuals with unique perspectives on veterans’ issues to speak to classes and the larger campus community. Join us for a talk with Steve Wahle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and current PhD student at the University of South Carolina. His research focuses on veteran identity, in how public attitudes toward veterans influence their wellbeing, and how veterans’ perceptions of themselves impact their transitions into civilian life. Steve’s experience working with veterans spans more than a decade in a variety of roles in the government and non-profit sectors. He completed an enlistment in the Marine Corps in 2005. All are welcome!
