Today (November 3) is the last day to apply for a Student Research Grant. If you are a full-time EKU student who will be pursuing faculty-mentored research this academic year and have a need for funding to cover materials or travel expenses for your research, please click the More on this Announcement link for information and application submission instructions. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.

This Thursday Nov. 4 the Spanish faculty will reserve the day to advise students who may have questions or need help registering for courses and/or have questions about the Spanish major or minor. Faculty will be available throughout the day in McCreary Hall and/or Zoom. Should you prefer to meet remotely, e-mail Stacia.Cook-McCoy@eku.edu for the faculty's Zoom room.

All MAT 112B students are welcome to join Dr. Blue and several Math Department tutors for a 90-minute midterm exam review session. A Zoom-only session will be offered on Tuesday, November 2, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. A hybrid session will be offered via Zoom and in-person in SCIBD 3208 on Wednesday, November 3, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to come curious! A problem set will be distributed to students to guide the review session efforts; all questions are welcome, though. Dr. Todd Gooch will discuss the influence of Greek philosophy on the development of early Christian Theology. Dr. Gooch is a professor of philosophy at EKU and will be teaching a course on the History of Christian Thought in Spring 2022. Support without Borders is an affirming support group for multicultural students and international students. This is a weekly virtual support group provided by the EKU Counseling Center and hosted through a secure video platform. This workshop focuses on ways to improve test anxiety, improving personal motivation for the things that need to get done, as well as how to set effective and attainable goals.
