You are invited to join us and learn about culture in multiple manifestations through a cultural exchange gallery on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, from 3-8pm in the Martin Hall MPR. Dr. John Bowes will give a keynote on Native American Heritage at 6PM to honor Native American Heritage Month, and Hors d`Oeuvres will be available for you to enjoy as you interact with the items in display. You are welcome to submit an object for the gallery (culture, an important tradition, family history, etc.) or come by walk around to interact with the gallery. These items can be submitted individually or as a group; this is a great opportunity for RSO’s to showcase what represents you. The Eastern Scholar House program is open to qualifying students with a long-term goal of self-sufficiency who would benefit from living in an educationally driven and supportive environment. ESH is a combination of education supports, housing and child development services, all of which are interdependent. Priority for housing is given to eligible single parents who are full-time students in an approved post-secondary institution. They have a few more openings and welcome inquiries. Held each year on Veterans Day, the National Roll Call pays tribute to our American military servicemembers and civilians who have made the ultimate sacrifice over the past two decades during the Global War on Terror. By reading aloud the names of our fallen, it serves as an opportunity for the campus and local community to participate and show their commitment and support for these heroes.
