Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a workshop on Mindfulness. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings. In this workshop, you will learn tools that can help you practice mindfulness and work towards reducing and preventing stress, anxiety, depression, as well as many other concerns you may be experiencing.

In honor of International Education Week and in collaboration with education abroad offices across Kentucky, EKU Education Abroad would like to invite you to attend a webinar by NKU alum Ronald Nkuranga. The webinar will be held over Zoom on Wednesday, November 17th at 12 pm EST. The webinar will capture highlights about the genesis of Rwanda’s genocide and the legacy thereof. It also discusses the Rwandan model of unity and reconciliation, its achievements, its obstacles, and the way forward. The Animal Studies Club will be hosting a Create Your Own Ornament station outside in front of lower case! This event will take place on November 17, 2021 from 11:00am - 2:00pm. The cost to make an ornament is $5. Also on sale will be Hot Chocolate! If weather is bad that day this event will be moved to Powell.
