Our AmeriCorps KY Ready program is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to assist with maintaining our social media accounts used for member recruitment and program promotion. Service term is 450 total hours, 15 hours/week from September 2022 to May 2023 although a shorter, single semester service option is available at 300 hours. This position can function as internship/co-op or other course credit. Service can be remote up to 25% of weekly service hours; office is located in Stratton Building. Activities can include preparedness education training and community outreach, service on Disaster Action Teams, volunteer recruitment and training, and office support. KY Ready Corps is recruiting community and sustainability minded members to serve part-time in a garden/food insecurity project hosted by the Catholic Action Center at their treatment/retreat center in Lancaster. Service begins September 6, 2022, and 300 and 450 total hour service hour slots are available for service until December 2022 or May 2023, at 10-15 hours per week. Activities include harvesting, garden maintenance and planning for spring, food insecurity education projects for adults and children and the satisfaction of giving back to the community through AmeriCorps service.
