EKU Libraries recently acquired trial access to the database CINAHL Ultimate. With more of the top nursing and allied health journals, CINAHL Ultimate provides better research results for better patient care.

Our AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps disaster services program is seeking student interns to serve at Lexington Emergency Management, God's Outreach Food pantry in Richmond, and Catholic Action Center's sustainable garden project in Lancaster! Our members serve 15-25 service hours per week, in service terms ranging from one semester to a full year in projects focused on disaster services community outreach, emergency management support and food insecurity. Benefits include a $2200-$5100 total living allowance, a $1374-$3247 education award at end of service (amounts dependent on the service hour slot) and significant professional training and development. This group is for individuals that have been negatively impacted by growing up in an alcoholic, drug addicted or otherwise unpredictable family environment. Topics often discussed include understanding the impact of these family patterns, learning how to recognize and develop healthy relationships, and addressing negative beliefs about oneself.
