Giving blood is an opportunity to give to the community in a very real way. Even though the process is simple and doesn't require much time at all, the fact is that without regular blood donors, there are people in our community who wouldn't be alive. Please join Student Life, Student Alumni Ambassadors and the Kentucky Blood Center to give back to your fellow Kentuckians! Appointments are preferred, walk-ins welcomed. Are you an EKU student who is food insecure? Food insecurity can look like hunger or having limited or uncertain access to adequate amounts of safe and nutritious food. If you are an EKU student interested in sharing your experiences with our research team, please contact us. Participants will receive a $20 gift card to compensate them for their time. We are scheduling interviews now and throughout the semester. You will be interviewed by our research team and complete a survey. It will take approximately 1 hour. The Office of Sustainability and the Department of Biological Sciences are conducting a survey to measure the literacy and attitudes of the EKU community around the environment and sustainability. Take the survey to be entered into a drawing for flex money giveaways!

Leveling Up is a group that provides interpersonal support as participants navigate D&D campaigns together. This is a weekly in-person group provided by the EKU Counseling Center. This interpersonal process group provides a safe space for you to learn more about how you interact with others, and how these interactions impact your beliefs about yourself and others. Group members explore thoughts and feelings, practice giving and receiving feedback, and experience new ways of connecting and interacting with others. Common things often discussed include trust, self-confidence, honesty, loneliness, life adjustments, and other similar topics.
