It's almost time for EKU Libraries' annual costume contest! Join us October 24th-October 28th in submitting your best Halloween costumes; submissions will be accepted via email or social media Monday, October 24th through Friday, October 28th at noon. Submissions should be emailed to Christina.Stallard@eku.edu or sent to EKU Libraries on Facebook or Instagram via direct message. Submissions should include name(s), department, costume description, and contact info for the submitter. The Library will have a photo station set up, but participants are welcome to take their photo anywhere. Voting will take place Friday, October 28th- Sunday, October 30th via a Google form (so everyone without Facebook can participate, too). The winners will be announced Monday, October 31st.

The lower east side of the Alumni Coliseum Commuter lot will be closed all day on Friday, Oct 28. The whole Alumni Coliseum lot will close at 4:30 PM, on Friday, Oct 28. Vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. This is for the KMEA State Marching Championship hosted in the Alumni Coliseum lot.

Join the EKU Counseling Center staff today for a workshop on Distress Tolerance. When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. Changes in your daily routine and the people you’re around can lead to a mixture of emotions. These new experiences can be stressful. The tools provided in this workshop are aimed to provide you with skills to navigate these intense emotions and increase the positive experiences throughout your day.
