EKU Libraries is emphasizing the need of Indigenous representation every day by highlighting our collection of Native authors as part of Native American Heritage Month. Many of these stories surround family and culture or the destruction of culture through the deconstruction of family. Similarly, other displays are bringing out memoirs and books about various family tribulations…as well as books to read when you need to conveniently ignore your family at the obligatory seasonal meal. Check out Family Stories in the Grand Reading Room and books celebrating Native American Heritage Month on the first floor near the Student Success Center.
