Come get some lunch on us and enjoy Happy Birthday, Marsha!, a 15-minute film about iconic transgender artist and activist, Marsha "Pay it No Mind" Johnson, and her life in the hours before she ignited the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City. Starring Independent Spirit Award winner Mya Taylor (Tangerine).

At a time when transgender people were banned from serving in the U.S. military, four transgender troops risked discharge fight to attain the freedom they so fiercely protect. Come watch and participate in the post viewing conversation that will get us to think about the different ways gender impacts how we see ourselves and others.

Are you interested in learning guitar? If so, sign up for MUS107! It is a beginning guitar class for non-music majors that meets in Campbell 327 from 12:30-1:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You'll learn pick-style and finger-style guitar technique and songs from a variety of different musical styles. Students need to have an acoustic guitar. Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. It can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and complicated. Grief group is safe space to receive support, learn to cope, and to connect with other students who are also adjusting to the death of a friend, family member, or loved one. This weekly in-person group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center. A group orientation is required to join this group. Color Coded is a safe space for students of color to express and discuss personal experiences with other EKU students of color. This discussion-based DROP-IN support group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center and meets weekly on Tuesdays from 2-3pm in Whitlock Building, Room 567. The EKU R User Group meets the last Tuesday of every month from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. Fall 2022
November 15th The R User Group is a free activity open to everyone on campus. The purpose of this group is to build a community of people interested in using the programming language R. The goal is to exchange ideas, collaborate, and provide support to one another. Participants at all levels of experience are welcome.
