Today is Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity. Today, the power of philanthropy will be multiplied as people around the world make a difference for others. This is also the final week of the 2022 Colonel's Cupboard Virtual Food Drive. Your gift to the Colonel's Cupboard food pantry will help meet the goal of 350 donors to the Cupboard this month. The Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement (CIEGE), along with our campus collaborators are excited to invite the campus community to The Karamu Celebración de los Graduados, An Intercultural Graduation Celebration to be held on November 30, 2022, at 6:30PM in The New Science Building Lobby. The celebration will recognize graduates (undergraduate and graduate) and the Dr. Rodney Gross Scholars. Immediately following the brief recognition of graduates, there will be a semi-formal gala reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, and dance. The participating collaborators and students will wear academic regalia for the formal portion of the event.

More On This Announcement


Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. It can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and complicated. Grief group is safe space to receive support, learn to cope, and to connect with other students who are also adjusting to the death of a friend, family member, or loved one. This weekly in-person group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center. A group orientation is required to join this group. Color Coded is a safe space for students of color to express and discuss personal experiences with other EKU students of color. This discussion-based DROP-IN support group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center and meets weekly on Tuesdays from 2-3pm in Whitlock Building, Room 567.
