The Department of Language and Cultural Studies, Anthropology, & Sociology is conducting a food insecurity study for EKU students.
If you are an EKU student interested in sharing your experiences with food insecurity please contact Amanda Green. You will be interviewed by our research team and complete a survey. It only takes one hour!
A person is food insecure when they do not have access to enough food or good food to lead a healthy life.
Students will receive a $20 gift card for participating!

Equity Complaint Council Nominations
The Office of Intuitional Equity ("OIE") is recruiting new student members for the University's Equity Complaint Council ("ECC"). The ECC hears matters involving students, faculty, and staff in relation to the Discrimination and Harassment Policy. Subject matter reviewed by the ECC includes alleged situations of Sexual Misconduct and other forms of harassment/discrimination based on Protected Class membership. Leveling Up is a group that provides interpersonal support as participants navigate D&D campaigns together.

This interpersonal process group provides a safe space for you to learn more about how you interact with others, and how these interactions impact your beliefs about yourself and others. Group members explore thoughts and feelings, practice giving and receiving feedback, and experience new ways of connecting and interacting with others. Common things often discussed include trust, self-confidence, honesty, loneliness, life adjustments, and other similar topics.

Choosing Habits is a support group designed for students who have struggled with harmful habits (i.e. drugs, alcohol, unhealthy relationships, social media, food, etc.) in the past and are looking for a space on campus to help maintain healthy changes.

The Red River Gorge is home to some of the greatest outdoor recreation the state of Kentucky has to offer. Join Adventure Programs as we try to give back. The first day of this trip will be trail service work followed by a day of rock climbing before returning to Richmond.
