As a Workforce Development & Community Engagement student employee, you will assist staff with the administration of various professional development and technical training programs offered through the department. This entails assisting with programs offered by the OSHA Training Institute Education Center, Workforce Development, Community Education, and 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
The position starts at $10/hour and offers up to 20 hours weekly. We are flexible with your class schedule.

Learning to belay is an important part of the climbing experience at the EKU climbing center, or outside at any natural cliff face.
This clinic teaches participants about equipment, knots, climbing skills, belay technique, catching falls, and lowering climbers; all with plenty of practice. Participants who have completed a workshop may then complete a free belay skills assessment to belay independently at the climbing wall.
