Unlock your creative potential with our Crepe Paper Botanicals arts and crafts course!
Learn how to create realistic looking flowers using crepe paper. Students will learn a variety of techniques such as fringing, cupping, curling, and laminating. You will also learn about different types of crepe paper, how to add highlights and lowlights to your flowers and techniques to add those "special" details. Supplies in the amount of $10 will be payable to the instructor the first night of class. Students may wish to bring their own mini hot glue gun and good scissors.

Have you worked on a research project recently and used Library resources to do it? Consider submitting your project to the Libraries Research Award for Undergraduates (LRAU). Made possible by the Friends of the Libraries, the LRAU recognizes and rewards undergraduate students whose research makes expert and creative use of the services, resources, and collections of EKU Libraries to produce a scholarly or creative work. Career Con is a networking event held Undercover Boss style, where students will have the opportunity to network with employers. Employers will also be reviewing resumes, and students will have the opportunity to practice their elevator pitch for the Job & Internship Fair on March 1. Students who attend Career Con will receive VIP status at the Job Fair on March 1 and get into the Fair 30 minutes early. Refreshments and proof of attendance will be provided. Registration on Handshake is preferred, but not required.

Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. It can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and complicated. Grief group is safe space to receive support, learn to cope, and to connect with other students who are also adjusting to the death of a friend, family member, or loved one. This weekly group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center. A group orientation is required to join this group.
