A student in SPA 492 is completing research on diversity and inclusion for these students at EKU for their Senior Capstone Project. The survey will take no more than 5 minutes and your responses will be used to compile a statistics sheet on the topic. The EKU Guitar Ensemble will perform works for jazz, classical and contemporary guitar on March 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Gifford Theater. This concert will feature hard-swinging jazz arrangements, including Blues for Jack and We've Got Rhythm, jazz standards (Straight No Chaser and Black Orpheus), a rock-inspiring rendering of a concerto by Telemann, and Life in the Fast Lane by The Eagles. Our acoustic set includes Lotus Eaters by Andrew York, an Air by Bach, works by Celso Machado and acoustic arrangement of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Several soloists will be featured. The EKU Guitar Ensemble is directed by Dr. Dennis Davis. This concert is free and everyone is invited! Would you like to know more about the EKU Guitar Program? Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. It can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and complicated. Grief group is safe space to receive support, learn to cope, and to connect with other students who are also adjusting to the death of a friend, family member, or loved one. This weekly group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center. A group orientation is required to join this group. The EKU R User Group meets the last Tuesday of every month from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. Spring 2023
- March 28th
- April 25th The R User Group is a free activity open to everyone on campus. The purpose of this group is to build a community of people interested in using the programming language R. The goal is to exchange ideas, collaborate, and provide support to one another. Participants at all levels of experience are welcome.
