Join the Maroon Platoon this Saturday for a tailgate leading up to the EKU Football Home Opener versus Western Carolina at 6:00PM! The tailgate is 2:00PM-6:00PM! There will be a mechanical bull and 100 free t-shirts. Free pizza will be available while supplies last.

Join EKU Athletics at Apollo Pizza in Downtown Richmond this Friday. The event starts at 5:30 P.M. and kicks off the EKU Football Home Opener weekend! Live Music from Jayce Turley and Band. 50 EKU Football T-Shirts will be given away and Free Pizza for the first 50 students will be available!

Come and join us for City Fest 2023! The Richmond Chamber of Commerce will have several local business' here for you to visit, there will be snacks and all kinds of giveaways! We will highlight the evening with the Maroon Platoon Pep Rally to kickoff the EKU Football season with traditions new and old! Free shirts, food, and giveaways while supplies last. We can't wait to see you there!

CLASS has got you covered with CLASSFest on Thursday, September 14th from 1:30PM-3:30PM on the 1st floor of the Roark Building (Rooms 105 & 106)! Make sure to mark that calendar and set your alarms!!

When a student finds themselves or another student’s safety at risk due to the use of alcohol or other drugs, they should contact the EKUPD immediately for medical assistance. Formal disciplinary action for violations of paragraphs 30, 31, and 32 of the Student Code of Conduct will not be enforced provided the involved students meet the criteria for amnesty. You won't be punished for helping a friend. If someone needs medical attention because of drugs or alcohol, they and you are protected by medical amnesty. Just call, stay, and cooperate. In recognition of September 2023 as World Suicide Prevention Month, there will be the screening of the Documentary on Kevin Hines, suicide survivor and nationally renowned spokes person on suicide prevention. This is an effort to build awareness, and education to promote mental health and suicide prevention on our campus.

Due to a multiple day event, parking restrictions will be enforced at the EKU Center for the Arts from midnight Sunday, September 10 through Midnight Thursday, September 14. EKU Center for the Arts side lot and back parking lot will be closed through event time. Alternate parking is available throughout campus.

Grief is a normal and natural response to loss. It can also feel overwhelming, lonely, and complicated. Grief Group is safe space to receive support, learn to cope, and to connect with other students who are also adjusting to the death of a friend, family member, or loved one. This weekly in-person group is provided by the EKU Counseling Center. A group orientation is required to join this group.
