New Minor in Applied Ethics

The EKU Department of Philosophy and Religion is proud to announce that we now offer a minor in Applied Ethics. This new minor will help prepare students to deal more effectively with ethical issues in their personal and professional lives. The student who completes the 18 hours of coursework for the minor will have the opportunity to develop skills related to critical thinking and ethical reasoning, which many employers see as quite valuable (http://www.businessinsider.com/11-reasons-to-major-in-the-humanities-2013-6; http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/28/the-unusual-college-major_n_4654757.html)

This minor is a very useful supplement to students majoring in business, education, health care, public safety, and environmental studies, among others.
