WHY DID THE COWS CROSS THE CREEK?
On their way to be slaughtered at the Battle of Shiloh, two cows revolt against their human transporters and refuse to cross a creek. Bonnie Blue and Old Bess sense the danger of the on-going battle, causing the escorts to debate the risk of the transport.
GOD SAVE THE SOUTH
In the aftermath of Union General Prentiss' surrender at the Hornet's Nest at dusk on the first day of the battle, his interrogation affects the battle’s victory.
TILL DEATH DO US PART
A living couple arrives at a bread and breakfast on the battlefield of Shiloh and encounters a ghostly couple separated by the battle.
A SOLDIER’S LULLABY
A mother sings her young son to sleep, and later when he is a soldier in the Civil War, he sings the same song to his fallen comrades to give them comfort.
