9/11 Day of Service: Volunteer with the YMCA & Richmond Kids Fest
9/11 Day of Service was established to engage in charitable service on 9/11 as an annual and forward-looking tribute to the 9/11 victims, survivors, and those who rose up in service in response to the attacks.
The Community Service program is supporting two service projects in our community as part of our 9/11 Days of Service any EKU Student, Faculty, or Staff Member is welcome to participate in:
Telford YMCA Volunteer Day - Saturday, September 12th
Join us at the Telford YMCA to clean, sort, and organize materials in the old YMCA daycare.
Kids Fest - Sunday, September 13th
Richmond Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteers to help facilitate the 15th annual Kids Fest. EKU has always been actively involved with this event by volunteering to run games, set up booths, and decorate the property.
