EKU Theatre- Tesla's Letters Opens

Set in 1997 this powerful play explores the intersections of truth, war, and political influence. When an American Ph.D. student wins a research grant to research electrical pioneer, Nikola Tesla in Belgrade, her discoveries surprise even this intrepid traveler. Electrical pioneer Tesla, a Croatian-born Serb, was Thomas Edison's biggest rival. In her search to uncover Tesla’s truth, Daisy is guided and sometimes misguided by a museum director with his own agenda. Daisy finds she must enter war-torn Croatia to understand Tesla’s world. In her search for Nikola Tesla's “doomsday device” to end humanity, Daisy is devastated to discover that no machine is required.
