CHAUTAUQUA Lecture - Anton Treuer - Native American Keynote - "Everything You Wanted to Know..."

  
The best way to learn about people is to talk to them.

Dr. Anton Treuer will provide an opportunity to learn more about Native Americans at his Chautauqua keynote lecture, “Everything You Wanted to Know about Indians but Were Afraid to Ask,” Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 PM in O'Donnell Hall. Free and open to the public. Attendance slips will be provided.

As professor of Ojibwe at Bemidji State University, Director of the American Indian Resource Center, and author of over a dozen books, Treuer is a cultural historian, storyteller and community advocate who has given presentations around the globe, sharing his vision of a better world, informed by his understanding of Ojibwe traditions and knowledge.
