Ken Haddix Benefit Concert
Dr. Ken Haddix was a professor in the School of Music at Eastern Kentucky University until he lost his battle with cancer in August. He was devoted to his family and was a friend and mentor to many all over Kentucky. Dr. Ken Haddix was well-known in the community and he positively changed the lives of everyone around him-especially his students. A scholarship has been started in his name at Eastern Kentucky University, the fund has reached about $6000 and will be endowed so that it continues in perpetuity once it reaches $10,000.
The EKU chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, an international music fraternity, will be hosting a benefit concert in honor of Dr.Ken Haddix. Tickets can be purchased at the website listed or at the door with cash or card. No checks will be accepted at the door. All proceeds from the event will be going toward the Ken Haddix Scholarship fund, EKU Foundation.
