MEETING TODAY: Responsible Environmental Stewardship Committee
The Responsible Environmental Stewardship Committee (RESC) will meet Wednesday, Feb. 3rd, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. All Committee meetings are open meetings. Sustainability affects all areas of the University. Therefore, all currently enrolled students and all university employees are invited to attend.
Meeting topics will include: Event updates, Sustainability sub-teams, Recycle Mania, and Trash Fash.
RESC is charged in accordance with EKU’s ongoing commitment to sustainability to increase and improve the praxis and teaching of sustainability and environmental stewardship across all University areas. This includes, but is not limited to, three main focus areas: energy, transportation and waste management. The committee also exists to assist, advise and support the Office of Sustainability’s initiatives.
