Spring Diversity Book Salon
There are still books available and plenty of time to read the first two chapters before the first book salon on Wednesday, Feb 11!
Diversity Book Salon's spring read is Blind Spot: Hidden Biases of Good People, by Mahzarin R. Banaji and Anthony G. Greenwald.
Blind Spot is the authors' metaphor for the portion of the mind that houses hidden biases. We all have them, created from a lifetime of exposure to cultural attitudes about age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, social class, sexuality, disability status and nationality. Event Date: February 11 4:30 - 6:00 pm Location: Kennamer/ Powell 112 Cost: Free
