Black History Month: Saturday for Service at White Oak Cemetery

The work of the Central Kentucky African American Cemetery Association, LLC is to restore the original dignity of the historic cemeteries that exist in the region. This includes removing undergrowth, discovering head stones, flagging potential grave sites for ground probing radar, and other tasks to help restore the cemetery.

Sadly Historical African-American cemeteries are rare and are also the “most vulnerable” to dilapidation. Come out and help preserve this integral part of our region’s history! Transportation will be provided from EKU’s Richmond Campus. To reserve your spot, click "More On This Announcement" below to sign up.
