TrashFash 2016 / Recycled Fashion / Runway Show
TrashFash is here again!
This FREE event is open to the public. Any EKU student, staff, alum or faculty member may participate in the show with their own original recycled/upcycled creation.
We encourage all interested to join us on the runway! Collaborations between a class, student group, or department are welcomed.
HINTS FROM THE EXPERTS!
Anything is potential media: plastic shopping bags, old clothes, newspaper, cardboard, beads, buttons, tree branches, bottle caps, plastic bottles, soda cans… We only require that the project have some sort of recycled, upccyled or natural content to walk the runway.
Assembly options: sewing of course, but consider hot glue, twist ties, pipe cleaners, plastic zip ties, duct tape, metal wire, safety pins, string, rope…Go big or go home and most of all... have fun!!!
