Kentucky Adapted Physical Education Program

  
Richmond, KY – Kentucky Adapted Physical Education (KAPE) program would like to spotlight three EKU students, Brandon Tevis, Lee Doernte, and Hykaru Katl, who participate each week in EKU’s KAPE program for children with disabilities.

Brandon Tevis is an EKU Fitness and Wellness major. Brandon's future career goals involve becoming a strength and conditioning coach. His favorite part about KAPE is “helping the kids overcome any physical challenge.”

Lee Doernte is an EKU Health and Wellness major. His future career goal is to become a college professor. His favorite part about KAPE is “helping the kids be active.”

Hykaru Katl is an EKU Fitness and Wellness Management major. Her future career goals are to become a physical therapist and a personal trainer. Her favorite part about KAPE is “helping the kids swim.”

KAPE would like to thank these three EKU students for their help this semester!
