Social and Economic Justice in Appalachia Lecture
Eastern Kentucky University Social Work program celebrates the contributions of social workers during National Social Work Month in March. To commemorate the month, EKU Social Work is offering a two trainings (CEUs) on March 4th at the EKU Business and Technology Center. The first workshop will be on Suicide (3 CEUS) by Dr. Melinda Moore at 9 am and the second event is the Welch Social and Economic Justice in Appalachia lecture (1 CEU) by Dr. Mary Anglin at 1 pm. The lecture is free and open to the public. The Suicide workshop is $10 which includes lunch.
