MEETING: Responsible Environmental Stewardship Committee
The Responsible Environmental Stewardship Committee (RESC) will meet Wednesday, March 2, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. All committee meetings are open meetings. Sustainability affects all areas of the University. Therefore, all individuals employed by EKU and all currently enrolled students are invited to attend. In addition to program updates, it is worth noting that we plan to have break-out meetings for the Sustainability Teams with the following objectives:
a. Choosing a team leader for the year
b. Finding a meeting time in the next 2 weeks
c. Discussing goals and priorities
RESC is charged in accordance with EKU’s ongoing commitment to sustainability to increase and improve the praxis and teaching of sustainability and environmental stewardship across all University areas. This includes, but is not limited to, three main focus areas: energy, transportation and waste management.
