Applications Live: Alternative Winter Break to Baton Rouge

  
EKU Students will volunteer with the National Relief Network in Baton Rouge, LA this January helping with relief to the recent flooding in Baton Rouge. This catastrophic flooding submerged thousands of houses and businesses. The flood has been called the worst US natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

Sign ups for this trip are now open. The trip application is on both CommunityService.EKU.edu and OrgSync. Alternative Winter Break costs $525 for participants. $25 will be paid as an application fee, and $75 will be paid as a deposit for the trip within 10 days of being accepted onto the trip. The other $425 can be fundraised via CrowdRise with the National Relief Network. All funds are due prior to December 1st, 2016. This cost is inclusive of all travel expenses: transportation, lodging, food, a National Relief Network T-Shirt, and disaster relief supplies.
