9/11: Moment of Silence
We encourage all members of the EKU Community to join in a National Moment of Silence on Sept. 11th in remembrance of the 15 year anniversary of the attacked that changed our country.
A moment of silence is observed to correspond with the attacks, beginning at 8:46 AM (Eastern Daylight Time), the time the first plane, American Airlines Flight 11, struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. With 15 years passing since it remains as important as ever that we continue to come together to remember and honor the victims and our shared history.
