DISABILITIES AWARENESS MONTH: Sidewalk Fair
Visit with representatives of more than 20 disability-services organizations at Powell Corner on Thursday, October 6. Special activities include wheelchair mobility demonstrations and sports challenges. This sidewalk fair is sponsored by the ADA Accessibility and Awareness Committee and the Center for Student Accessibility Office. Attendance reports for students will be available through OrgSync. We will also provide cards to let the booth representatives mark visits (so that instructors could give credit for getting marks from 8 of the 21 booths, for example).
Students can ask for check-off cards to receive class credit, when possible.
