Volunteer Opportunity: Salvation Army - The Angel Tree Program
The Salvation Army is gearing up for the annual Angel Tree Program, and is in need of volunteers.
What Is Angle Tree?
The Angel Tree provides gifts of new clothing and toys to thousands of children who otherwise might not have anything for Christmas.
What Would Volunteers Do?
Volunteers would be responsible for interviewing clients, gathering information, and determining if they are eligible for Angle Tree Assistance.
When Would You Serve?
Community members will be applying for their children to receive assistance on October 17-21 from 9:00am-12:30pm, and on the evenings of October. 18 & 25 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Volunteers are needed during these time periods to help process the requests from community members for Holiday Assistance. We will also have additional Volunteer opportunities all the way up until Dec. 24.
