CHAUTAUQUA Lecture 7:30 tonight in EKU Center for the Arts - Gwynne Dyer: "Don't Panic!: ISIS, Terror and Today's Middle East"

  
Dr. Gwynne Dyer, acclaimed independent journalist, bestselling author and award-winning documentarian, TONIGHT Thurs. Oct. 20 7:30 PM in the *EKU Center for the Arts*, on the topic of his latest book: “Don’t Panic!: ISIS, Terror, and Today’s Middle East.”

Dr. Dyer has been a writer and analyst of global affairs for over 30 years, garnering praise for his “trenchant tone and clear-eyed, nonpartisan approach” and his “encyclopedic knowledge of international affairs.” His first major book, War, is considered a classic in the field. Dyer’s twice-weekly column is published in more than 175 newspapers in 45 countries. Among his bestselling books are Climate Wars, Crawling from the Wreckage, and Ignorant Armies: Sliding into War in Iraq. In addition, Dyer has produced award-winning TV and radio documentaries, including a seven-part series titled “War,” one episode of which was nominated for an Academy Award.
