Live @ Your Library: George Ella Lyon
Enjoy an evening with Kentucky Poet Laureate George Ella Lyon. Her current project is entitled, “The Poetry of Witness," which includes poems and a song written in response to our collective moment—some right of the news, and some from children who have talked to her on school visits. Lyon is author of works for children, teens, and adults, including: "Where I'm From," "A Kentucky Christmas," "The Pirate of Kindergarten," "Borrowed Children," and more. Refreshments to be provided.
