New Class Spring 2017 - Fermentation Microbiology

  
A new Fermentation Science class will be offered during the Spring 2017 Semester. FMT 540, CHE 501/701 - Fermentation Microbiology will cover the morphology and identification of yeast and bacteria that are used and are contaminants in the brewing, distilling, and food science industries, Brewing yeast metabolism, wild yeast fermentation, and fermentation microbiology quality control. A fundamental part of all fermentation industries, this class will introduce you to the basic concepts needed to work in fermentation quality control. Prerequisites: CHE 102/102L or CHE 362/362L.
