Taylor Fork Nature Walks: Winter Tree ID & Survival

  
Come join Biology graduate student Thomas McFadden to hike the grassy paths of EKU’s natural area Taylor Fork Ecological Area to learn about how to identify common trees during winter months and how plants survive through the cold months of winter. The hike will be on January 27, 2017 at 2:00pm and will last about 1 hour. Please RSVP to kaitlyn_kelly32@mymail.eku.edu.
Please dress for the weather. The paths are mowed, you will require sturdy walking shoes.
Directions: Taylor Fork Ecological Area is adjacent to south campus. Take Kit Carson Drive to McKinney Skills Drive, then follow the dirt road on the right through the gate.
