AFA Celebrates Black History Month with a Special Panel Discussion
“There is Room for You! Maximizing Opportunities for Blacks in Administration” an event featuring top and mid-level black administrators on campus who will be discussing issues of diversity, inclusion, recruitment and retention.
The panelists are Dr. Laurie A. Carter, executive vice president & University counsel; Dr. Tom Otieno, interim dean, College of Science; Dr. Sheila D. Pressley, associate dean, College of Health Sciences; Dr. Eric Parker, executive director, Model Laboratory School; Dr. Tim Forde, chief diversity officer and special assistant to the executive vice president; Joslyn O. Glover, chief equity officer, Title IX, Office of Equity and Inclusion; Wenceslaus Poryem, director of International Student and Scholar Services; and Anthony E. Jones, director of Multicultural Student Affairs. Special guests include President Dr. Michael Benson and Provost Dr. Janna Vice.
